چکیده
Hybrid Nanoenzymes In article 2300385 by Xing-Can Shen and co-workers, a bioinspired metalloprotein-like hybrid nanozyme (FeS@GOx) is designed incorporating the FeS as brand-new cofactors within natural GOx protein scaffolds, providing feasible H2S gas amplified ROS cascade strategy for precise efficient tumor chemodynamic immunotherapy.

O 25: Immunotherapy for Brain Tumor
In 1890, Coley observed that cancer patients who developed infections had smaller tumors. From this, he developed Coley’s toxin and treated tumors with injections of infectious materials. In 1960s, Mahaley used monoclonal antibodies to treat central nervous system(CNS) tumors, that research and clinical investigations in brain tumor immunotherapy became a serious undertaking. ...
متن کاملMinibioreactor-gas collector for determining bacteria-produced hydrogen sulfide
A simple and economical minibioreactor-gas collector system for determination of hydrogen sulfide produced by a microorganism was designed. The detection of hydrogen sulfide was based on the reaction between the hydrogen sulfide in the gas stream from the culture, and a lead acetate solution 0.090 mol/L, contained in a tube gas collector; the conductimetric back titration of lead excess was mad...
متن کاملHydrogen sulfide (H2S) - the third gas of interest for pharmacologists.
Nitric oxide (NO) and carbon monoxide (CO) synthesized from L-arginine by NO synthase and from heme by heme oxygenase, respectively, are the well-known neurotransmitters and are also involved in the regulation of vascular tone. Recent studies suggest that hydrogen sulfide (H(2)S) is the third gaseous mediator in mammals. H(2)S is synthesized from L-cysteine by either cystathionine beta-synthase...
متن کاملDendritic Cell Maturation with CpG for Tumor Immunotherapy
Background: Bacterial DNA has immunostimulatory effects on different types of immune cells such as dendritic cells (DCs). Application of DCs as a cellular adjuvant represents a promising approach in the immunotherapy of infectious disease and cancers. Objectives: To investigate the effect of tumor antigen pulsed DCs in the presence of CpG-1826 in treatment of a murine model of cancer. Methods: ...
